I just don't get it ... no matter what I do I can not get that StreamMode to work.
No matter how I activate SM (set Nistune to SM, then connect ... or connect and set SM)
it is all wacked out!
TunerMode works fine ...
Please advice since StreamMode has become ScreamMode to me ...
This is all at idle with the car not moving

looks like registers got out of wack? did you try restart, make sure correct address file loaded and then connect again?

Good morning to OZ ...
Yes I have the correct address file, it is the same as I use for tuner mode.
Could it be a cable issue?
Or is it a SW problem?
I suppose it works on your side?
As far as I remember I never got this working ..
I could offer to use a different laptop to double check.
Which address file should I use for the Z32 ECU?
But if tuner mode works alright it must be the proper one .. mustn't it?
Besides there is just one address file for that ECU anyhow.
Could it be that I have too many items checked for logging?
Is stream mode heavy on the CPU?
I used a tiny Atom Netbook.
Please advice ..
Nity nite from wintry London at -1C!!!!

try unticking all items except RPM. then connect. then retick the ones you want
I think something screwed up with too many registers like you mentioned. I can see them working (default selections) here on the bench for Z32 41P03

Hello Matt,
Sorry for the delay - we had a bit of an Arctic episode in the UK.
(lots of snow actually)
I got it to work ... I started in stream-mode, unchecked all boxes, shut Nistune down.
Restarted Nistune, reconnected and check-marked what I wanted to log.
Everything seems to be fine now and no more confusion!
Now let's see if I can get VTC activation to log.

sounds like something got messed up with the registers. Its hard to acheive but if you select too many more than the ECU can support (20 total - some of these are double registers) then it gets tripped up trying to get say 21 registers
