Its this possible I tried putting a bigger number than 8000 but still cuts at 8000

It's still not possible, yet, to go beyond 8000rpm with Nistune, if I'm not mistaken.

TM_S13 is correct. Pretty sure Matt has it on his list of things to do, but it's not a top priority just now.

I was under the impression from other reports (in a very recent thread) that setting it over 8000 resulted in NO rev limiter at all as the ECU never gets to count higher enough to engage the limiter.

don't know what is working on type 3 but on type 1 CA18det it is working fine, mine is set to 8300 and it is working.

I think that on the last released version Matt was able to "correct" that feature for some boards... not sure wich ones though...

According to a post by Matt himself, that isn't the case. Nistune never has supported it (which i thought it did for the type3) and he goes on to say in another post that you need TunerCode to support such a feature.
