Another update on things

Post by Matt »

Hey guys

Just to let you know whats happening on the development front.

We have completed firmware for the 6802/6303 USB, 6303 consult and 7790 consult boards. Peter from PLMS is doing some slight fixes to the those test boards for the final versions.

These test boards are fully working and have been sent out to people for testing and I will make any softwae bug fixes accordingly. My problem list is getting slightly large since I haven't made NIStune application updates for a while so I'm starting to go through those now. Some of the main ones are

- Wideband problems introduced in last version
- Romulator connectivity issues with some ecus
- USB consult data retreival problems on some PCs

I've just implemented a speedy way to update extended consult data for multiple cell map updates and will be doing similar for the USB consult version now. It should make tuning a bit quicker than current

There will be a new version available in the next few days with updated address files

older rev1/rev2 boards use the Z31/R31_128 address files
newer rev3/rev4 boards use the Z31/R31_256 address files

Vehicles supported is getting large

6802/6303 USB
VL/VLT Commodore, Z31 VG30, R31 RB30, S12/S13 CA18, J30 VG30, S13 KA24E, HR31 RB20
(any 8 bit nissan without consult)

6303 consult
R32 RB20/RB26, Z32 VG30, M30 VG30, U12 KA24E
* the VH45 needs to use the romulator since no free ROM space for NIStune firmware
(any 8 bit nissan with consult)

7700 consult
S13 SR20, S13 KA24DE, S14 SR20, S14 SR20DE, RNN14 SR20
to be tested U12 SR20, U13 SR20, S15 SR20
support possible P10 SR20, ER34 RB25, Y33/B14 etc
(anything a GRID multiboard does should be possible)

The R33 RB25 will be left alone for a while since an R32 ECU can be used to run these

more to come...
