4th Gear Activates Knock Map (z32)

Been trying to get some accurate data while driving around to make sure I have adjusted the K value correctly for 740 injectors, but every time I hit 4th and 5th gear the car switches to the knock fuel map and the knock gear fuel map, but will still stay in the normal timing map.
I know this can't be right because I switched in 4th with no load on the engine and it still switches to the knock maps.

I read that you can set the Speed Coefficient to 0 so the ecu doesn’t switch into the Gear maps so I thought maybe there was an error in the code causing it to switch to the knock maps instead of the gear maps. So I that’s what I did and sure enough that caused the ecu to stop switching into the knock maps once hitting 4th or 5th gear.

Am I missing somthing here as to why this is happening or is there an error in the code?

I think that knock and gear map flags may be switched on this ECU. Got it on my list to look into. For now I would read that as high gear maps should be highlighted. Will check it again tonight with USDM image

Ok thats what I was thinking, but my one question is if it does sense knock will it go to the high gear map then?

no it should go into knock maps

Okay the wrong flags were used for highlighting on this (gear flag) so fixed tonight for next version
