DLP A/D wont connect in nistune, works in hyperterminal

Post by revolutionz_s13 »

Hey all, I just recently got the DLP-IO8 to log my AEM UEGO. Problem I am having is after going into the configuration and selecting the proper wideband, and then the correct com port (com4 in my case) it will not connect. When I click the WB LHS button next to the consult button, the wideband window pops up, and I get an error message that says "cannot find device" and at the bottom of the wideband window is says "WB 1: Invalid Communications". However, I can connect and get the return values in hyperterminal, so I know my unit is good. I have tried uninstalling/cleaning the ftdi drivers about 3-4 times now. I am lost in this one. Thanks.

selecting the proper wideband
Thanks for the log. You didnt select the proper wideband

You need to select DLP A/D converter since this is what you are using and then put the UEGO lookup table into the AFR1.CSV file for this to work properly

Selecting UEGO is only used if you plug the UEGO straight into a serial port on your PC

Whoops
Haha, I was so frustrated, I was convinced I had everything set up right, and I messed with it for about 2-3 hours before I finally posted.
Thanks again Matt.
