Couple of questions

Hi Matt,

following on from this thread viewtopic.php?t=2027

I've now had the board reprogrammed for the correct euro ecu but now I've got a couple of issues all idle related.

It will start and idle low and rough about 500-600 rpm and pick up once warm to 800rpm but rough
when warm it will start and idle at a steady 800rpm but rough
Then when its been running for a little bit it will pick up to about 1200-1300 rpm for 10-20 seconds then drop back to 800rpm and rough for 5-10 seconds and then repeat.

Also when you put it in to gear at a stand still the revs raise by 1000rpm

Any ideas?

Hi matt, found what was coursing the issue. it was running horrible lean and getting worse at idle as it warmed up. also found that my lambda sensor had died and popped the fuse with it. I've got hold of another lambda (second hand) but on the 02 gauge what sort of figures should I be seaing as at the moment I've only seen as low as 0.29 and as high as 0.33.

Should swing between about 0.2 and 0.8 depends on ECU so those are rough figures

the ecu is a 39F05 CA18DET in an S13 if that makes any difference.

should be going higher when your wideband shows richer than 14.7:1
