Check CAS with consult?

Check CAS with consult?
I have an R32 GTR that wont start. The service manual suggests that if the tacho needle doesnt move during cranking, that there's a spark issue, and that 'control unit output signal (ignition signal)' and 'control unit input signal (crank angle sensor)' can be checked via consult. I couldnt see anywhere in nistune to read the CAS signal. How is it done?
Re: Check CAS with consult?
Fault codes for CAS will be reported in the 'Consult View' window. List of DTCs would be showed there, otherwise DTC OK is displayed
CAS DTC will be displayed when the ECU detects a CAS input signal when expected was missing
What you can do with Nistune is watch the RPM gauge and then get someone to spin the CAS (or crank the engine) and see if you get a speed reporting on the RPM gauge in Nistune. That is the 1 degree signal
For the 60 degree signal once again spinning the CAS should result in the injectors clicking as it is spun. If you use a screwdriver pressed against an injector and listen through it for clicking sounds this will help you deterermine if the CAS > ECU > Injectors path is working
