We haven't had a drag strip here for some years now.

But the biggest I've done so far (about to be beaten by an SR20!) is actually Matt's R34 with 300rwkw. Which is around 500 crankshaft HP. Not bad for a unopened (except cams) daily driver with factory street manners!

I know Trent in Melbourne has done a 400rwkw SR20 using NIStune. That one was a bit special though - not your average street engine. 2.2 litre stroker on E85. Running Z32 AFM - maxxed!

im proud to say i own nistune now. thought you guys were all disco potatoe t28 guys. I always say you're not making real power till you're making 100 horses a cylinder. Im making 490 at the wheels race it at 465 470 horses doing 6.7, 6.8 depending on track conditons. best E.T. 6.6 at i think 104 or 106. 22 psi e85 74mm borg warner t4. i launch at 6500 rpm. i think making alota power on stock motor is like the real estate bubble in the us its eventually gunnah pop. even worse when daily driven. But why limit you're self with a stock motor, but i guess thats fast enough for the street. we have a few 700 and change ka's here, but they will probably break at the track.

shell UK V-Power (99 RON). I run approx 4-6deg @ peak torque without knock.
keep in mind i run a sr20 with the squish area removed so its low compression. I dont have my calcs to hand but its less than 8.5:1 when i built it.

my highest horsepower SR20DET so far is 621hp/623nm at flywheel.

Then there are some higher power Skylines and Z32 but it much easier with 6 cylinders so those don't count.

6 cyls count. as long as its on nistune. 6's on 1/8 mile don't know what it does in 1/4 mile. Not street driven. Would be kindda cool to think of nistune as serious performance product capable real results, on a competative stage. Go hard or go home!

I'm at 425whp with my L28ET. I've also tuned L28's into the 500's with nistune. I think 6 cylinders can count if they only have two valves per cylinder.
