Hi all
I connected mtx-l to ecu to emulate oem o2 sensor - s14a sr20det euro.
At first everything worked ok, but now after 2-3 days it starts to lean out, mostly when the car is cold and starting to warm up.
Instead trying keep 14-15 afr it goes 15 16 ... 22, i have to press accelerator to get to other cell on map and for a moment it is good, and again 15.. 16 .... Sometimes it works ok, and when engine is warm it is rather ok.
I checked connections etc, checked logworks and everything is ok. Only one question, how fast the emulation should be ? 1/12 sec ? 1/6 or 1/3 sec ?
I dont know what is going on
MTX-L narrowband emulation leans out engine very badly ?

You might need to check with Innovate on this one. The resolution of the O2 sensor should be fast so pick the fastest one you can. Log the O2 sensor voltage in stream mode in Nistune and post the log here so we can see it
The O2 sensor voltages may need adjusting if possible in Nistune (depending on your ECU) to move the rich/lean points to match Innovate although this should not normally be necessary

and you can program in the lm programmer the mtx-l emulation voltage.

Had similar symptoms, seems to have been a bad earth/-.

Found the problem
Stock o2 sensor voltage is 0.1 to 0.9V
Innovate o2 emulation was 0.1 to 1.1V BUT !!! there is some strange offset in voltage, and nistune reported max 1.30V instead of max 1.1V.
So ecu saw very often high voltage = rich and then leans out.
So i changed innovate emulation to 0.05 - 0.7V and nistune now reports no more then 0.95V and everything is ok.

Very interesting ,I'm going to give this a try and see what happens.IceManPL wrote:Found the problem
