R33 TPS Settings R32 ECU

Post by nicr4wks »

Hiya guys,

Probably a noob question here, I've soldered up my first ever Nistune to a 04U1 ECU which is being run in a S2 R33 rb25det, gone in to 'TPS Trigger Voltage' and set this to 800mv, but I can't for the life of me get the 'TPS Idle' to illuminate in consult gauges. The TPS is reading at 0.34v when closed and I've tried various triggers from 0v-5v without any success.

What the hell am I doing wrong??

Cheers,
Nick.

Resolved via email. R33 ECU does not have TPS switch going to it. Documentation I have on R33 shows Series 2 has a TPS input to the ECU but this one on Nicks doesnt

I have a question regarding this. My idle light illuminates but it illuminates when the tps is at 0.3v. now is that okay? i have heard that when the throttle is closed it has to be around 0.5v closed and around 4.5v wot.

0.3v seems to be the setting I was told for TPS to be idle. You can adjust it using the TPS trigger voltage parameter
