I find myself very often in the field, meaning on the road with the laptop next to me.
When I'm driving it is difficult to see whether I'm connected and in what mode.

I don't know how many times I was in tuner mode while taking a log, only to find out afterwards

For connect just a big red/green (or whatever) icon (maybe with a C letter) , and Tuner/Stream could be indicated by colours as well and maybe a big T or S.

The colours should be bright and easy to spot.

Same for Upload Download icons,
These are both the same colour and easy to mix-up.
I know there are arrows on it, but could you give one of these icons a different colour?

At this time I will not be changing the icons. It confuses the many existing users when things like this in the interface start changing. Also logging in the latest versions will always switch automatically to stream mode to avoid this particular problem
