Hi,
I'm a new member here, thanks for having me! I have a 1990 Z32-TT, with a type-2 board installed with the feature pack ROM.
I'm a embedded hardware/ software engineer during the day, and would like to build my own instrumentation to display data from the Consult data stream in a similar manner to the Nistune software, just without the need for a laptop. I'd also like to investigate what's possible based on the type-2 communication protocol for things like a custom boost controller based on RPM/ speed, E85 content, knock, etc.
If it is something you'd be willing to share, I'd be very grateful!
Type 2 protocol?

Re: Type 2 protocol?
Start with the basic consult information at www.plmsdevleopments.com
Once you have that working, email me and I can provide the other protocol info if you need it. Basically some parameters like flex parameters are read from memory addresses direct from the ECU. Before you can read some addresses the PIN needs to be unlocked in the board (default is 0000)
