Custom gauge based on other data/sensors + formula

Hi.
Maybe you know the software "Torque" for Android, that can be used to connect to the OBD II system of modern cars (> 2004, I think). It can then display live data in a so called dashboard, where I can place gauges of any datasource OBD II provides (e.g. speed, rpm, MAF, MAP, coolant temp. and so on). It also offers the possibility to add custom datasource, where I can reference a real datasource and apply a formula to like convert MPG to Liters per 100km.
Do you think, such a feature would make sense in nistune? I am thinking of one particular custom gauge I would label "L/100km" that calculates from the injection time (nistune realtime datasource) taking injector size, rpm and speed into account (by my own formula) resulting in a live view we have in modern cars' board computers showing the current fuel consumption.
Alternatively is there some sort of API, I can use in an external software to access the realtime nistune injection timing and other datasources?
Bye;
