Z31 HPX N1 Blow through MAF wiring

Post by 84z31turbo »

So I switched from a Z32 draw through MAF to a HPX N1 blow through MAF (3" housing). My Z32 MAF worked fine but with the HPX my 84 turbo won't stay running unless I unplug my MAF. I think I wired it correctly. The car starts and idles beautifully for about 10 seconds then dies. I did the MAF change operation for the new MAF from a Z32 to a HPX N1 3". Any help would be appreciated

What does the MAF voltage show at ignition on (should be about 0.3-05V) and running (should be about 1V)

You may need to manually increase the bottom of the table, and of course check mixtures at cruise (0% trim) are around 14.7:1 to make sure base settings are right

Thanks Matt, I'll check the voltage on the MAF
