well I feel this post is dumb and embarrassing but here goes lol…..

I’m a complete novice to NIStune and tuning in general. After discovering you can’t resize your injectors more than once as it keeps multiplying. I need to fix it..

Is there a way to reset this or will I have to upload a factory map ? Ps my car isn’t tuned yet it’s still the project phase if that helps.

All I did was resize injectors multiple times as I’m sure the modification didn’t upload, change maf to r35 gtr 3in and disable filter flags for TCS.

Would it be easier just uploading/burning a factory stagea tune/rom and then resizing injectors and maf change.

Apologies for the delay

Best bet is to reload the factory file if you haven't done that already

Otherwise the factory K = 348 and TIM = 512 and you can then do the resize again

Each time you resize, it will adjust K and TIM values. It will also adjust crank enrich each time, if the checkbox to adjust this is ticked

every time i try to load the factory file it says synchronisation issue.

“ Out of sync!

Nistune has detected a potential data synchronisation mismatch Resynchronise your NIStune board or emulator, Burn to board terminated”

You need to sync (either download or upload to the board) before making changes

A couple more things now that are concerning me.

Got the car started today with the new injectors and R35 AFM.

The car now takes some throttle and a few moments before firing up after the new Bosch 1000cc injectors and NIStune adjustments. I left cranking tables unticked. Should I have ticked this box? Not really and issue for now as car is almost ready for tuners nothing they can’t fix i’m sure.

However, the AFR according to my AEM UEGO at idle was +\- 24.XX. Can it really be that lean ?! I thought it would have ran rich because of the bigger injectors not this lean. Im fairly certain there’s no exhaust leaks pre sensor. What else could cause this being so lean apart from a faulty sensor ? Is there anything I can do to bring it down fairly easily for a novice like myself so I can at least make sure it idles and revs fine before putting it into get tuned?.

Not sure about your UEGO. Bad placement or sensor not working properly. Add more to the 'total injection multiplier' to add more fuel over the whole range
