Ok so I can maptrace and read the map but I can't seem to make any changes to it. It says the board is locked when I try to burn the image? Any other Calum real time ecu users out there?

I have one on my #62 ecu.

It's working excellent.

Open the stock bin file as well as the address file corresponding to your ecu.

Then hit the Emulator Upload button. That should write the image onto the Calum R/T board.

From there you should be able to hit the Emulator 1 button and active the live tuning.

I havent had a problem with it yet.

it's giving me the maptrace just not updating the bin from the ecu. When I try to download the bin from the ECU I get nothing. I downloaded the new beta version friday. The older version just wouldn't even work.

The resync and burn operations are only applicable to NIStune realtime boards and not emulators/calumsult boards

Make sure your emulator type is set to 'Romulator Compatible' in File-Configuration and let me know how that goes

Ahh didn't know about that button. I got it to update now but other problems have came up. My Zextronics box won't work with the Nistune. I have one of his 1st ones. I know the newer ones work with it because I used it on my friends car (his realtime ecu).

You can call zeitronix and have them send you a new box.

Mine blew up(from too much heat @ a track day) and they sent me a new one for about $35USD.

I always forget to email ziggy about it lol. I hope he still remembers his old Socal DSM buddy.

from the logs emailed... the older zeitronix box sends a frame of 13 characters instead of 14 like the later ones

next version has an update to look at the frame and count number of characters between next 'header'

so it will basically auto detect the zeitronix type for you.
