I like your timing map slider91. And your fuel looks great too. Better than some of the Japanese roms I've managed to get my hands on for sure. Would you happen to have any datalogs for this map? I'd really like to see how that turbo behaves with a tune like this.

You tried that timing map on anything with a smaller turbo? You reckon all that midrange timing would ping with a turbo that hits a little faster?

I would hope that it would be ok with a slightly smaller map however not tested it so couldnt say for certain.

Unfortunatly I havent got any datalogs for it atm as my laptop died on me and I lost the lot however this weekend I will be doing a little more tweaking with it as I have a drift weekend to go to :)

Here's the unchanged, original .BIN file I ripped from a JDM CA18DET RWD ECU I traded for; "Impul tuned" ECU, using stock MAF and injectors. I used this as my starting tune base map then added bigger injectors and a different MAF (among other things). I suspect this tune is meant for an S13 SR20 T25 and probably a pod filter, maybe exhaust. When compared to the OEM maps there are ever so slight changes you will notice.

I'm posting this because it does no good just sitting on my hard drive. I encourage everyone here to share any tunes you pull off tuned ECU's and not to horde them. You are not going to make a living selling cloned tunes on Ebay so post em here to help fellow enthusiasts.

=)

seems quite interesting Mydato

is that 185kW at the wheels ?

Yep 185 at the wheels. Max boost at a touch over 3k using a old Super AVC-R  . Upgrading to a GT2871R soon. Then some poncams for a bit more breath.
