Consult cant connect

Post by WannaBREz »

Searched and searched, I cant find someone with the same problem.

Image

Just got NIStune. I have installed the software and the type 1 xp drivers. I seem to have a unique problem. The computer finds the NIStune fine, and installs the drivers fine. But then, after the NIStune drivers are installed, the computer says there is a USB serial port to install?? I cant find the drivers for that at all.

Does the Romulator have to plugged in as well?? the computer I am using doesnt have a serial port.

I used the USBview and everything there looks fine.

Help!

Looks like its trying to install the Nistune device as a serial port for some strange reason

If you right click on the Nistune Communications Device and then look through the tabs for 'Create a virtual com port' or something like that. It is a tickbox. Untick this box and then unplug-replug

Hopefully this time that extra device should not show up.

Sorry but need the another log after you attempt the connection. This one doesnt show the Z31 address file being loaded or the consult button being pressed
