Consult disconnects when recording is stopped.

I'm not sure if you have it this way for a reason or not. Basically when I hit stop on the log player when recording a log the consult disconnects. I'd prefer it stay connected.

thats because the logger goes into playback mode immediately once stop pressed. consult has to be disconnected to avoid conflicting with the playback
either this option or dont allow playback buttons displayed until consult disconnected first
first option is more intuitive

What about linking the play button to do the disconnect?

i think i might do that. so you will have both 'rec' and 'play' available once you hit 'stop'
if you hit 'rec' you stay in consult mode. if you hit 'play' you enter playback mode and then consult disconnects so you can see the replayed data rather than live data
