Matt on vacation 9 Jan - 20 Jan... and an update

Just letting everyone know that i'm going on a boat for this period of time... so no email etc!
What am I working on in the meantime.... well I've had a few reports of timing not working as expected under 65 degC and 80 degC. Seeems to happen on Z31, HCR32, BNR32, Z32, J30 VG30E etc
So I'm looking into various ECUs and seeing what Nissan is doing instead of reading the timing map at those temps. Sometimes other tables are used, and I think in some cases hard coded values also used
Results in timing stuck at between 10-20deg BDTC when cold then all good when warmed up. Would like to fix that or at least find out what Nissan is doing there... so research continues
Also another report is that over fueling is occurring with larger injectors on the SR20s. Seems that the injector ms reported from consult is rising quite quickly when AFM increases. I'm looking into the cause of this, because if affects bigger injector setups (800CC) more and causes it to go richer than it should on acceleration
Also fixing up address files where there are problems and making updates to include more parameters (and verifying with hardware tracing with single+dual emulators)
So I'm focusing on the main tuning parts (bread and butter bits of the system) before going back to knock detect work
Attached is some of what I'm working on for diagnosis when tuning and what to look for. Its very draft and more to come...
