fuel pump not priming

hi there,
I've done a search on this but couldn't find a definite answer, With the nistune board installed my fuel pump doesn't prime, but when I change back to a st3 chip then it does prime.
And with the st3 chip in but the purple/white/grey/black connector still connected to the board I hear a relais clicking up front of the vehicle (fuel pump rel.??) and it also doesn't prime.. With that connector disconnected it primes normally. Does this makes sense to anyone?

I read something about the order of those 4 wires being wrong in the installation sheet, anyone who can confirm this as the cause or something?
thanks!!

it must be on the wrong order... try invert the order of the wires and see if that helps

no you shouldnt those are just signal wires

very long time ago for Z31 1988 wires were wrong in the documentation. But the CA18 should have 1,2,3,4 on the board matching 1,2,3,4 on the connector (1 = purple wire)

Check the Type 1 hardware install manual for details

The fuel pump problem seems to be solved now, but I've done some more checking and it now seems thet only cil. n° 1 is getting a spark, 2,3 and 4 do nothing. Can this be a software issue? All electrical components were working just fine before..

can you connect to nistune now with fuel pump priming normally? what about the LEDs are these flashing codes in diagnostic mode?
