Re: R32 RB20DET ECU knock control
I think I sort of found my answers with correct keywords ("Detonation Ignition Retard"), so I guess it didn't need to be answered more than once. About "Knock maps" (It's a "04Uxx" R32 RB20DET ECU) - http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1938&p=13672&...

R32 RB20DET ECU knock control
I wanted to confirm the procedure for turning knock control off with R32 RB20DET ECU. I understand that by copying the main ignition and fuel maps to knock ignition, fuel maps, that it will turn the map part off. But how do you turn the "Knock Timing Beta Advance vs RPM" table off? I can't...

Re: expected battery voltage for HCR32 RB20 alternator
Did you check at battery???
I had a problem with low voltage on turbo timer and found out there's around 1V difference from tapping into wiring near ECU to testing voltage at battery.

Re: PC for tuning + gauges
Thank you for the answer Matt. :) In NZ this American drifter had a 10.1"? screen Android Tablet PC with bluetooth running off a LS1 stock ECU in a Rx7. Mainly used to display gauges, etc. That's what sparked my interest in this subject. Was just wondering if it's possible with Nistune, but use...

Re: PC for tuning + gauges
Thank you for your answer to my questions Eric. :) I see what you mean, wideband software, Nistune tuning software. Maybe Emachines E350 netbook PC with Windows XP might be the best option? - http://www.harveynorman.ie/emachine-e350.html I think has USB 2.0 ports x3 for PLMS cable, wideband and one ...

Re: Speed Desnity??
Interesting subject.
Tomei were able to get MAP sensor, IAT sensor, Barometric sensor to work with stock GTR ECU and it works. Same with SR20DET ECU. Also they have base ROM data for SR, RB26 that you can download to load onto their ECU's.

Re: Max power nistune is capable of?
I assume direct from Ford Racing Division or through Ford dealership. Read this thread about aftermarket Ford Lightning MAF and genuine Ford Racing Lightning MAF - http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1694&start=0 I gather the part number in link below is for a genuine Ford Racing L...

Re: Max power nistune is capable of?
Modified stock ECU with Nistune can run a 700hp rated Ford Lightning MAF (check drop down menu when changing MAF, as Ford Lightning MAF is listed there) in blow through setup (mounted on intakepiping after intercooler, but before throttle body). There are weld on mounts, so Ford Lightning MAF sensor...

Errors in HCR32 address file
Descripition of problem : Software Version 0.9.14.7 While using HCR32 address file and any HCR32 bin file. "O2 feedback temperature" that's shown seems incorrect, as it should be 30degrees (was in previous versions of software) and it displays as 205degrees. This is important for tuning my...

Re: TPS Function
Interesting subject. TPS is there to stop lean condition (results in stumble when suddenly accelerating / during transient movement) when throttle body or throttle body's suddenly open, It's why a TPS is mounted on the throttlebody. TPS settings are usually played with after fuel maps have been tune...
