Rb26 stands alone loom
Hi. Im doing an engine conversion with an rb26 from an r32 gtr.
How does nistune connect to the ecu.
Is there any particular plugs i need to keep on the factory loom?
Also. If i run a single slot afm. Will the factory plugs get cut off and spliced together?
Thanks

Rb25/30 stock ecu
Hi.
I have an r33 skyline. Was looking at rebuilding a rb30 with the rb25 head and fitting that in.
How well Would it run with the stock ecu etc.
Cheers

Rb25 rb30 idle motor control
Hi. Just wondering if other idle motors will work with the stock ecu. I think on all the rb25 rb30 rb26 motors the factory idle motor at the back of the factory inlet is basically the same. If i fit a new forward facing inlet can i use a throttle body that has an idle motor fitted that's not the fac...

Re: VL Turbo 5 cylinder tune
does anyone know what table the ecu access between drive and neutral.
car stationary in drive afrs are good but as soon as its in neutral they go rich

Re: VL Turbo 5 cylinder tune
had a quick play with it. i changed the fuel map to another one i had (might look familiar matt) and tweaked the latency and the k constant, seems a bit better. doesnt seem to lean out now. still goes a bit too rich and doesnt richen up early enough (boost starts around 2500rpm) but i guess thats ju...

Re: VL Turbo 5 cylinder tune
ok when i get a chance ill check for leaks
why is it so rich at idle, i thought the ecu and 02 sensor automatically trim it to 14.7
and where it goes real lean is a massive flat spot, like the revs just stop at 2000 to just a crawl till it gets to 3000. then it seems fine.

VL Turbo 5 cylinder tune
hi, i got my car tuned, while on the dyno it popped a head gasket. when i fixed it and got it going again it was running on 5 cylinders. number 5 was missing. i beleive it was running on 5 cylinders when it was tuned. now its on 6 again, at idle its on 12 to 11 a/f. as i accelerate it leans to 17 wh...

different MAF voltages
hi just looking at the maf wiring guide.
it says that RB30 and z31 VG30 use 2 - 7 volts.
do i assume all the other mafs use 5 volts.
would all the other mafs work on a VL once the voltage mod was done to the ECU.

mystery injectors.
hi i have hose tail injectors in my VL turbo. there blue.
people who installed them only know them as merc injectors. i bought them 3 years ago. they may be bosch 036. is this is the same.
can any one tell me exactly what cc they are and what latency they are.
is the latency important?
