Re: Basic Tune, K / Lat. for 550cc Can't get it smooth!
Was reading this informative thread since i am having the same issue with a '95 S14 ka24det on 550cc DW. Seems that also from 5800 to redline it tends to go into the 12.2 to 12.5 range no matter how much fuel I add on the fuel map. Sent a new calibration to the client with a few more points added to...

Re: cant tune up my gtir!!!!!
The car's TPS was scaled correctly and now it reading better. Still the issue he is having is that the LOAD point is on the wrong side of the fuel map for instance. He had a SAFC in there before and it was taken out and I specified to him that he needs to verify the cables form that UN-instalation a...

Re: New to Nistune & issues!
Okay I figured that part as well, seemed like the ROM file that was in the ECU was corrupt, loaded a new base one changed the fuel setting on the injectors and got a nice idle with the help of the KConstant slider.
Checking timing on the engine and going to hit the street to tune it now.

Re: New to Nistune & issues!
Okay update, we got it started. The mechanic that installed the AEM FPR had the lines not right and was only getting fuel to the closes injector to the feed line. So now we got it to idle and messing with the KConstant to get it to idle at 14AFR since we are at 12.3 at the moment. One issue that I d...

Re: New to Nistune & issues!
Good day I am back in Panama once again trying to start the black GTiR with the type3 board, getting connection now and everything. Well before I connected to the nistune, the socketed ECU was in the car and the car started and idled fine. Next day we installed a FPR with out adjusting it and not co...

Re: New to Nistune & issues!
Thanks for the reply, a friend of mine sent me a pic of his two ground connections that are present on his car, but not in the one that I am having issues with. Here is the picture of where he told me his is originally connected. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o313/Bonbonera/DSC04396.jpg Could t...

Re: New to Nistune & issues!
Thanks Hayden for the reply. This car is bone stock, all it had installed was a SAFC before. The injectors and the other components are OEM. At the moment we are looking to get another ECU to try to install the Nistune type3 board to it and try once again to connect to the vehicle's com port.
