I am using the right VQ maps, they are just different from the 32 to the 33. Same as the fuel and ignition maps are different. Next time anyone has a spare moment take a look at them and tell me which is better!!

That would be great, here in the UK we want to promote the use of the Nissan ECU over the Apexi unit. If you can get the knock feature working properly then that would be the last bit working!! We recently had a RB20 running a Nistune ecu with standard injectors and 5 bar fuel pressure running 380 B...

Thanks guys, the ecu and the car are out of my hands at the moment, we think we sussed the burning eeprom problem as we were using a different assembly code in the ecu.

As for the nistune ecu we will have to wait and see, I have not heard any bad news yet!!

ECU failsafe???

My Nistune boarded ecu goes into failsafe after about 20 mins of use, the emission light flashes and the engine runs badly. If I switch the car off and restart after a few mins its fine again for a while. When it does this I lose consult as well. On another note I tried copying the maps from nistune...

The S14 and the RB series ecu's control boost very well, if there was a way to modify the table to hold say 1bar then that would be fantastic.
