Ok thats what I was thinking, but my one question is if it does sense knock will it go to the high gear map then?

Been trying to get some accurate data while driving around to make sure I have adjusted the K value correctly for 740 injectors, but every time I hit 4th and 5th gear the car switches to the knock fuel map and the knock gear fuel map, but will still stay in the normal timing map.
