Small bug reagarding the display of the AFR value

Post by RomChip200 »

While driving and sometimes at the first connection to the LC1, the AFR displayed is not 20.9 but 209 (or 148.7 instead of 14.87).
It does it for a very short time, randomly.
That makes the average and max values wrong in the AFR tracer.

does it continuously occur at any time? if you can send a log though that will help me out...

you can reset the AFR trace to get the values again

Do you see it in log record playback or only wideband?

I can see the values multiplied by 10 everywhere, it comes, it goes.
Have a look to the files.
The log record starts with 209 instead of 20.9 !
Your Nistune logs shows the same.

AFR value not congruent in Nistune log playback fuel/tim map

Post by bachig24u »

Hi Matt,
I noticed today after a long day out at WSID that our trusty VLplusT (11.2@121) and Nistune were causing some issues with AFR readings.

attached is a pic of the problem.

I have started to fine tune this car and I'm just not sure which readouts I should go off. the afr readout in log player, the afr readout on the timing map or readout in the fuel map. they can be different. I may resort to logworks to compare. now that adds a new dimension. usually around .30 or so.

Matt,
I've been using nov25th version 9.13.12b.

Looking at the changes via log player, it would seem that there is a slight delay between the log player AFR value and the one displayed on the timing/fuel maps.
Are the different places were AFRs are displayed throughout NisTune working off the same log player time stamp or is there a specific reason why they shouldn't?

Kind Regards
Sime
