Hello.
We are rebuilding our primera on SR20DET.
We are using infinity G20 Address file but there is no controls for fans.

Re: Fan control
From what i remember you'll have to send your board back to Matt anyway as the address that the fan temp is stored in isn't writeable too using normal Nistune software.
Re: Fan control
As far as i know the whole bin is writable, thtas what nistune is. There is no need to send it back. And anyway it will be chaper for me to buy Board Programmer.
We already fond speed limit using address file from S13. But we can't find addres for fan control

Re: Fan control
Fan control is not adjustable from the standard maps, since it is hard coded in the ECU code
We have to modify the ECU firmware to move it out and then reprogram the board to allow this. Currently only done it on S14 SR20DET so far

Oh =(
Type 2 has this in a map's thats why i thought it can be done via maps.
Thx for answer Matt.

Re: Fan control
Has there been any development on this? My base bin is 64Y01 and I know where the values are to be changed, so can I edit the adr file and it can be written to? or it doesnt work that way?
would be nice to have the fan control to take advantage of the low temp thermostat.

Re: Fan control
No development on this whilst fixing application issues
Doesnt work that way. The firmware doesnt allow modification of the ECU code where the raw values lie (too easy to corrupt it) so we have to move this into the map area so we can adjust it
