As the injector body is red for the ebay ones, how do they achieve this ?
To your mind what's the oem injector they custom milled ?

Nismo: red body = 740cc

Has the customer installed and used these injectors, if so what were the results?

He got SR20DE N/A injectors (250cc I think) as some performance injectors from some SXOC "expert" so they were useless , only result is that he had to buy another real set of injectors :) and take down intake manifold 3 times and that I have to spend two days explaining him that these are OEM SR20DE injectors, so now we don't take cars which don't have decent tuning parts on. Dyno time is to expensive to waste it and to spend it explaining to customer that he bought someones junk .

The bottom line is if they're cheap then beware.

All the dodgy drillers use JECS injectors to start with - usually the cheapest they can get their hands on. And often used.

I get mine from Greenline in Japan - I always buy NISMO's.

I wonder when the chinese will start copying well known branded injectors and start flooding ebay and the likes with it...if they haven't already.

Things will probably get even worse then..

But as Pete says, avoid cheap injectors and I personally would never use Ebay as a provider for important and new engine/tuning parts...

not a company I would recommend either.
Have VERY bad experience with Jason and his non-existant customer support.

Just when everybody thought engine building was going to be a dying art it's turning out ot be the business to be in!

As supplies of cheap Japanese engines start to dry up (it *is* happening) and people fit dodgy injectors and AFM's to their engines the engine builders will be working 24/7!

Eric,

What do you recommend for 740cc to be used with E85 ? Any link ?
(I avoided the pint type and use the phase2 disc type, purchased from DW, one injector failed and replaced, no problem since, running 100% E85 all the time, 3 bars).

for E85 the Bosch EV14's are very good

http://www.bosch-motorsport.de/en-US/li ... 843403.pdf

you'll need a custom fuelrail though (for the 300ZX it'll need to be similar to this: http://www.drivenauthority.com/shop/WF_Z32fuelrail.html)

so what about dw injectors again??? ive heard good things about them. i also have a set for my rb20(650cc). http://www.deatschwerks.com/skyline/skyline-1989-94

I installed them before i got my nistune situated when i was messing with/wasting my time. with mail tune ecu chips. and the ecu wasn't reading them and they fouled my plugs in like a few minutes(iam guessing this is normal when you don't have a tune). They look pretty solid and well made..

DW injectors are actually drilled outsmaller injectors that PL was mentioning above. They wont have a decent spray pattern compared to a factory JECS injector of the correct size because of this
