What model toughbooks are you guys running? The common ones seem to be the 18 and 29. 18 is the lesser machine but much lighter than the hefty 29 at 3.6kg.

Is the touchscreen useable with NIStune?

I've got an old Toshi 4300 with one broken hinge. It flaps around all over the place! :(

Preston wrote:Yes it works, I got an EEE PC specifically for tuning...I can fit it in my glovebox if needs be. The only thing is the screen res is only 1024x600 so it's hard to fit a lot of info, let alone see it if it's not close to you.
Similar situation here;
Andrew found me a cheap ex demo Lenovo X100e that also has a smaller screen, (ideal for chucking in the glovebox), but the resoloution does go higher, (I've set it lower so I can see it, but I have to deal with shifting screen modules regularly)

Win7Pro is well supported nowadays, gee this thread has been going for five years!

-----------

2 x R31 Skylines;
1. Clapped out RB30ET, 5spd, (VLT T3), cheap cooler with restrictive pipes, 14psi, 3 inch mandrel full system with good cat.
2. Fresh RB30ET auto, (VLT T3), cross pipe only yet, ~10psi, 2.5 inch to cat, then stock. Cooler and pipes are ready.

Acer Aspire one 10" with Win7 starter first time used today in the R31. Works a treat. Has enough screen resolution to show everything still
