Z32 TT 1993 Boost Control by ECU?

Post by Klauss »

Hi, I have a simple question, have Z32 TT from 1993 electronically controlled boost by ECU? Which table is it in Nistune?
Or for little increase of boost is need to have boost controller.

Thanks for answer.

Not really, on the Z32 (any year) the boost is only controlled by the ECU in 2 settings: either socalled safetyboost (wastegate spring pressure) or normal/standard boost.
To get near full control over the boost you'll need a EBC

Thank you.

Where I can find safeboost limit in Nistune?
I only found in DTC filter 2 - Boost Pressure Sensor.

not sure what you mean.

the safetyboost limit is basically another term for standard wastegate spring-pressure of the turbos....so it's mechanical and not adjustable by the ECU.

The ECU can only determine when NOT to run in safetyboost and switch the bypass valves that allow for safetyboost or standard boost pressure.
If you want to be able to control the boost on a Z32 you need a boostcontroller.
