DLP A/D freezes system 0.10.13R

The DLP A/D is causing my laptop (Win XP) to freeze, requiring a hard shutdown, while connected to 10.13R for a random amount of time, usually within a few minutes. I searched "DLP freeze" and found a few mentions of similar issue but nothing relating to a solution. Any ideas?

This is an FTDI previous version driver issue

Reinstall Nistune and select the 'clean drivers' option to clear out old versions and install the latest. Reinstalling LogWorks can put an older driver version on the system and that version freezes up consult and DLP cables
