Alright, I understand ..
The maps are displayed if the coefficient > 0 and then you can work with them.
Still I would like to have them constantly displayed .. even if not used.

Are ther some news to this topic? Is there a simple way to add extra fuel on high speed? I would a good possibility to add more fuel and an additional safety for long WOT drives on the German highway. ![Twisted Evil :twisted:](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)

I think these gear tables were used more for emissions than speed. It takes the current speed vs the RPM and then accesses the maps once going beyond a certain threshold

But you could use them to switch to a different map based on RPM and speed.
So it's rather to go into a cruise mode to save fuel than adding more fuel.
Of course you could add fuel as well, but there is no load factor involved in the switching routine, is it?

But I can use the upper gear tables only abouve a certain speed? If the speed goes under that the, map switch normal back? I think to add this for stupid customers, how run theier cars for 5-10min at WOT and max speed on German highway.
On this way i can add more fuel over 240-250km/h to hold the exhaust temp down.

I think that is a possibility, the formula for when the switchover happens is posted here somewhere.
I myself wanted to use these maps at some time, but did not find the time jet.
Basically it is a nice feature not used much.

In the twinturbo 300ZX models, the maps were either not used or exact copies of the regular maps...
In the NA models there were only small and subtle changes in the HG maps.
The high gear maps are used in the European 300zx TT model. Have a look to 37P01 ECU (this is my ECU btw).
Basically the high gear map is used to enrich in the mid-rpm / mid-TP ranges, so when a high speed is sustained for a while with good acceleration.
As mentioned, the market targeted was Germany highway.

In fact the diff b/w normal map and high gear map are deeper. the closed-loop area is also smaller.

These have been backwards since ROM Editor/Live Edit days (!) sorted for next release
