Why is the Nistune Release 0.11.1 thread closed?

If it isnt a problem or a suggestion it probably goes here.

Why is the Nistune Release 0.11.1 thread closed?

Post by Torque »

Hi,

Why was the 'Nistune Release 0.11.1' thread closed?
Are we now just closing threads silently when another version pops up?

yes. Been doing that for each release

If there is a problem with an issue in the current (or unsolved in previous) build then raise it in the bugs section. Or it can be noted against the next build... Otherwise we will have old threads on previous releases being raised.

Forget about ODB-II, why not rather do the GUI fixes, smoke and mirror tables, and knock detection on Z32 ;)

OBD-II boards have been waiting for three years to be finished... First prototypes were about 2009 but had some issues with ECU not working with them. Finally need to get these finished (as well as Type 5 boards). People keep asking me when they are going to get done but need to keep postponing them to due software updates

Which ODB-II Nistune boards are these, I mean for which cars?
Are these 16 or even 32 bit?

S14 KA24DE (1996-1997), A32 VQ30DE, Z32 VG30DE/DETT (1996). All US models which had extra memory added when 1996 OBD-II rules came in

Other ECUs like B14 SR20DE went upto 1998 still with 64KB and ER34/WC34 upto 2001 with 64KB so those werent affected. After this ECUs became FLASH based so boards were not applicable then
