Type 4 OBD-II and Type 5 prototype boards are now completed so software work will continue again. I've put the above changes into a stable build release tonightFixed bugs:
Fix error on creating dump directory when default consult log directory changes
VQ map entries too large for auto font size
Add marking to cursor follows
P11 PIN enabled cannot do stream mode
Enhancements:
Add HR33 RB20DE to address files
Add ER34 boost counter. Soft (TTP) and hard (TP)
Add N14 GA16DE address definitions
Nistune Release 0.12

Nistune Release 0.12
Nistune Version 0.12
Re: Nistune Release 0.12
Thanks Matt,
I will give it a go ..
If anybody marvels at the marking to cursor follows -> It was my idea (so blame me)
I wanted to have some marking function while in trace follow.
This might be good if you're tuning an engine with the headphones on (for knock detection)
You usually do a WOT pull and the instant you hear knock you can now press space to mark the exact cells/area were the knock occurred.
Also it might be helpful for road tuning purposes as a simple marker function (I also missed this)
Well, I don't know if it works out, but that was my rationale

What vehicles are going to be covered with the new boards?Matt wrote:

Re: Nistune Release 0.12
I could not get the mark function to work?
(Tried while playing a .log)
I find the font for the cells too large, the numbers almost touch each other and it almost merges all into one blob.
Maybe you could reduce the size by 20% ?

Re: Nistune Release 0.12
Make sure you click inside the grid first before hitting 'space' or M to mark. Otherwise there is no focus for the key press. So the key press event may be directed at one of the other windows (and not actioned). It works since I tested it
Can pull it back a little bit with the font sizing
Later OBD-II boards:
A32 VG30DE 1996 (Maxima)
S14 KA24DE 1996-1997
Z32 VG30DETT 1996 (later model Z32)
Type 5 boards:
K11 CG10/CG13
S14 SR20DE
N14 GA16DE (also B13 GA16DE but I dont have an ECU here to test but should work)

Re: Nistune Release 0.12
Hmm ..
The Grid Window is active.
Neither 'M' nor SPACE seems to mark?
Maybe I misunderstood?
W7/64 here!
Yeah, the font is really huge

Re: Nistune Release 0.12
Just tested marking.
1. Load log file
2. Press play
3. Click on grid
4. Start pressing SPACE whilst cursor moves around (with Trace Follow enabled)
5. Dark purple marks are left on the grid
Note: Pressing SPACE on a marked field will clear the previous mark (if any)

Re: Nistune Release 0.12
Do you want some logplayer crash logs?
using input tracer and it crashed intermittently but frequently after high speed playback.
I think I also saw two 'speed limit 1 & 2' in the VLT addresses in previous versions. now 'speed limit 2' has turned in to 'Safety TP' and now a 'safety rev limit' introduced.

Re: Nistune Release 0.12
Improvements to the VLT address files I would think. Must been a while ago since I added them. Safety RPM and TP is when Speed = 0
Crash logs if you submit them via the web will be on my website for collection. If they dont get uploaded please email them through

Re: Nistune Release 0.12
Just changed the MAF from Z32 to Q45 by only clicking on 'ADJUST TP SCALERS)
The resulting image had DELTAS all over the place??
Even Dwell Time/ Dwell Duty was changed??

Re: Nistune Release 0.12
The comparison image you are checking against (purple line) appears it might be blank. Check the maps in that image file. This is why the deltas are out
Changing MAF TP scalings wont change the comparison image

Re: Nistune Release 0.12

Happy New Year btw.

Hello,
I think I made some mistake with the comparison image.
Sorry about this, so no NT issue.
Any new developments?
Cheers ...

Re: Nistune Release 0.12
Adding Undo support to the software at the moment...
School holidays at the moment keeping me fairly busy but I've fixed many crash bugs (in subsequent test release 0.12.2) and continuing through the list where possible
