More Questions about AEM UEGO Controller

Post by 1SIKZ31 »

Ok. This is MORE basic than basic! In other words, I dont know anything.

Theres a 0-5 Volt signal wire coming out of the Wideband...
Where do I connect this to?
Thanks :?

NIStune wont use that wire directly

Your UEGO controller should have a serial output (check the manual from the AEM website). That plugs into your laptop

If it doesnt have this.... your only other option is to get a DLP A/D converter and put the 0-5 volt line into this. I stocked up on some more units

- Serial data stream included for output of AFR (RS 232)

Posting from work... I have the manual at home somewhere. It should be on their website where the wires for RS232 are

I found that you have to sign up to their forums to get the information, so I have done this ...
http://forum.aempower.com/forum/index.p ... 214.0.html

Attached below are the manuals. Serial connection manual details the plug you have to buiild to connect the UEGO to your laptop.

Once this is hooked up, select your serial port in the NIStune software for Wideband and connect to it
