Peak n' hold or saturated? (CA18DET)

Post by BeerBringer »

What injectors can be used with the CA18DET ecu? PNH, saturated or both?
Would a saturated ID1000 high ohm work if I remove the resistor pack?

Normally Nissan ECUs use peak and hold injectors. However ID1000s have been used successfully (and recommended) for SR20s so I think they would work fine with CA18DET also

Did some research.

A resistorpack is used on the stock injectors to "fooling" the ECU to thing we use saturated injectors when infact we are using P&H.

I ordered EVO 8/9 FIC1100 saturated injectors and removed the resistorpack.
I have not driven the car yet but it idels fantasticly well! Better than with the 560 cc Evo injectors.
I set the K-constant for 952 cc injectors (1100cc run at 2.5 bar fuel pressure).
