matt, what does the "detonation ignition retard" constant do/mean?
what does the "latency change with voltage" constant do/mean?

1. I believe that when knocking is detected, this constant sets the stepping on how much degrees to reduce the timing (then the ECU starts hitting the knock maps after so many counts)

2. Latency change with voltage is the amount of latency which is increased/decreased when battery voltage level changes. There is some discussion about this in the Type 1 (R31/Z31) thread where I hunted this down for those vehicle types

Injector Latency/TS
Delay between injector pulse and injector opening at an assumed 14volts.
Affects idle performance. Typically 0.75 - 0.85 ms depending on injector size and brand. ms

Injector Latency/DTS
Coefficient used to calculate true injector latency at current battery voltage IF voltage is below 14V.... ms/Volt
