Lambda on Aux1 won't go above 1.00

Post by djstatic »

Hey Matt,

In my DLP folder I have afr1.csv with the typical UGEO scale. Input #1 on the DLP is wired to input #2 and aux1.csv contains this:

Code: Select all

AEM Lambda
0,0.68
160,0.7
310,0.72
470,0.74
620,0.76
780,0.79
940,0.81
1090,0.83
1250,0.85
1400,0.87
1560,0.89
1720,0.91
1870,0.93
2030,0.96
2180,0.98
2340,1
2500,1.02
2650,1.04
2810,1.06
2960,1.08
3120,1.1
3280,1.13
3430,1.15
3590,1.17
3740,1.19
3900,1.21
4060,1.23
4210,1.25
4370,1.27
4520,1.3
4680,1.32
4840,1.34
4990,1.36
For some reason in the log Aux1 won't got over 1. It's like there is a ceiling

Log output (note Lambda Vs Aux1):

Code: Select all

Lambda LHS	AFR	Aux1
0.96	14.16	0.97
0.95	14.08	0.96
0.97	14.35	0.95
0.95	14.06	0.98
0.98	14.43	0.98
0.96	14.16	0.95
0.96	14.12	0.96
0.98	14.49	0.96
0.98	14.51	1
0.99	14.62	1
1.05	15.48	1
1.04	15.34	1
1.02	15.02	1
1.03	15.18	1
1.02	15.14	1
0.98	14.43	0.99
0.98	14.54	0.98
0.99	14.58	0.99
0.95	13.98	0.93
Any idea why it's behaving like this?

Thanks matt, I think it might affect all Aux inputs.

My boost gauge only logged 13psi and I was hitting 20 odd

Resolved. Problem with scaling setting max to 1

Tested -10 to 30 psi boost here:

Matt, Please review the following.

Image

For some reason the Log Recorder would not record a result higher than a 1 (red line - aux1=AEM Lambda) even though it should, as stated above.

ECU:
DJStatic.bin
RB20 ECU in RB25 (FP)
(32 KiB) Downloaded 339 times
DLP-IO8:
DLPADConverter.zip
My DLP-IO8 files
(1.69 KiB) Downloaded 390 times
Log:
2home_2015-07-29_1708_18.csv
Log File - Driving home from work
(2.88 MiB) Downloaded 337 times
In the other thread I'll whinge about the scaling :)

The bug for reporting lambda above 1V has been fixed in the log _recording_

The log you have posted shows Aux1 is no higher than 1.0. This has now been fixed because the wideband simply was not displaying anything leaner than 1.0 lambda due to a rounding error

Now the log you recorded above is datestamped 29th July ... so was recorded with the older version. It shows no values greater than 1.0 lambda for Aux1 entry

You will find if you record a log file with the latest version (released 30th July) that it will now record over 1.0 lambda

The combo display view with the scaling markings on the right is also a rounding issue. I've fixed this for next release

Please try a new log recording with new version in meantime

No worries, I think there was a misunderstanding.

I thought you were trying to say there's no problem.

I'll check the new version out. Thanks.

Problem report states:
Resolved @5400
Removed (int) type cast breaking deicmal values (which meant 1 maximum for lambda)
Fixed 1.2.45

So yes a fix was made for the logging. I've fix up decimal points for the scaling but need to test all inputs

New version overwrote my DLP csv files.

Luckily they are backed up here. I'll run a log tomorrow.

I won't post today's log because of my MAF issue and the carriage return issue you found in the other thread.

I made the installer check date stamps on wideband files before overwriting in next version (it did it to me too!)
