Lean delay after shifting

No. Narrowband is a NTK/NGK OZA395-E2 Oxygen sensor.
The wideband is a AEM Uego via a DLPIO8

Re: Lean delay after shifting
Ok, I noticed your tune still uses it's input.
it's not going to work with Ethanol too well as the blends vary.

Re: Lean delay after shifting
I use the 107RON E85. It's not Caltex garbage.
I can wire up the AEM's narrowband output but it doesn't make sense.

Re: Lean delay after shifting
What is the exhaust diameter where the Wideband is welded in to?
How far is it from a bend or the turbo outlet?

Re: Lean delay after shifting
Exhaust dia. is 3.5"
The wideband sensor is mounted ~250mm before the catalytic converter. The installation angle is ~15° from horizontal.

Re: Lean delay after shifting
we ran into some similar issues with the rb20 ecu running rb25 there seems to be a missing fast response tps enrichment somewhere that cant be tuned out, i have it coming back in to re-assess, it doesn't do it with Powerfc or z32 ecu only the rb20 ecu with the latest FP. i may have an update next week.
Re: Lean delay after shifting
I've had a hunch it's the Q45 TPS. I'm not happy with my trigger voltage (I haven't had time to look at it lately), and maybe throttle enrichment.
I'd like to see some stock logs to compare

Re: Lean delay after shifting
The R32 ECUs only have the four throttle enrich tables so far that I am aware of. Have you tried modifying these at all? Q45 throttle will result in extra airflow flooding the engine before the MAF is able to accurately measure it
Re: Lean delay after shifting
Remove the TPS and manually rotate it to see if the enrichment is working.
Any slow change should not result in a fuelling change but a rapid one should make the engine cough and splutter a decent puff of fuel out the exhaust if the throttle is not actually opening.
We haven't seen much change when using the TPS enrichment tables.
I zero'd them a while back to see if they were affecting static throttle mixtures and the engine wouldn't run very well at all, so never convinced that they were just simply a TIP-in Enrichment.

Re: Lean delay after shifting
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm thinking. I have searched and others don't seem to have this problem? maybe I need to look a little deeper or make some enquirers with some of the tuners over here.Matt wrote:The R32 ECUs only have the four throttle enrich tables so far that I am aware of. Re: Lean delay after shifting
Ok, so on the w/e I bumped the Throttle Enrichment table like so:
and there seems to be a slight improvement.
One thing I noticed is that when I put my foot flat to the floor. I can't access the last two cells on the table.
I was thinking of bringing them over two places like this:
Can anyone see any danger to this? Other than potentially wasting a bit of fuel.

Re: Lean delay after shifting
Although there seemed to be some improvement. Normal driving is hardly affected by the Throttle Enrich tables because my TPS rarely goes over 1920mv to access them.
Not sure what else I can try?
