Fan control

Post by Tommey »

I would like to know what to do to get my fans to work as i want.
With these settings, the fans are on all the time as long as the enigne is running.
Ideally i would like them to run when coolant hits 85c regardless of vehicle speed.

I have tried the active tests, and i cannot get them to run individually.
Not that it is a big deal.

I have tried alot of different settings, help would be appreciated!

Have a look here - page 11
https://www.nistune.com/docs/Nistune%20 ... k%20V1.pdf

Make speed params 20, 80 = 511 to not use them

So then just working from 0 - 510km/h with first row and 33 = high fan enabled. Then set suitable temps

Right now you have 70-75 degC across the top so they are on all the time. Start from 85 degC perhaps

I`m still having issues with this.
When i run Active Tests no fan runs on High Speed, but both fans run on Low Speed.
Is this normal?

I can also only get my fans to be on always or never.

Yes the 80F00 ROM image only runs one fan by default

Two fan outputs can be run however:

83F00 (ADM)
Feedback Switch 3: Bit 2 (04) Enabled single fan. Disable two fan

82F00 (EDM) /80F00 (JDM)
Feedback Switch 3: Bit 0 (01) Enabled (Fan 2 disable)
Feedback Switch 3: Bit 3 (08) Enabled (Fan 1 + Fan 2 disable)

Remember you need to set the table flags to 33 (raw) currently you have them set to 22

Feedback Switch 3: Bit 0 (01)

It`s not there.
