This warning is on all models. I should also add a warning for DTC codes.... some tuners are tuning with things like knock fault code active... or if the neutral switch is stuck on all the time. So many things to check (especially when people do transplants with bad wiring)

Version 1.2.78
Split S14A/S15 address files for changes to warmup tables between versions (CR0000185)
Add FLEX_CRANK_ENRICH_OFFSET back to WC34 FP1 address file
Remove TTP_MIN table definition from BASE_SR20_LATE_512_E.ADR as not used by targeted ECU (ie VE base ones, P11 SR20DE)
Fixes for log progressing rounding issues (CR0000186)
Fix naming of 'gauge'
Resolve consult serial port issues. Timeout causes overlapped termination. Resolve connection issues (CR0000184)
Add maptracer 'reset all' button (CR0000157)
Add double click close windows (tables, constants, flags)
Resolve ECU showing FP gauges when not FP enabled (CR0000180)
Remove RB30 O2 flag (CR0000182)
Double RB30/VG30/CA18 injection duty when batch mode halves injection time (CR0000183)
Reduce white blaance on Trace Window (CR0000179)
Fix incorrect labels for LHS/RHS O2 sensor (eg Z32)
Update Z32 AFR learn and knock min thresholds
Managed to finally get some time to do updates this week to the software. I'll try and work more through the list. I still have a few firmware items to investigate too, so have to balance those two

Matt can we get a pinned thread that only you can post and edit on what changes have been done to nistune, like a Patch notes thread. It is cumbersome looking for what has changed for X board or if X feature is in beta/added/in-progress. So it would be every post is every major patch or revision.

Our release notes included with the software package have each update done so far

With the feature pack releases that is at the first post in the Feature Pack thread

Other changes done/finished can be found at www.nistune.com/mantis

This can be searched or filtered for open/in progress/resolved/closed items

Version 1.2.79
Update Z32 address files (remove RHS O2) and use rich/lean, lean/rich and ready trigger parameters
AFR trace view window resize (beta)
Replace VQ 'none found' with better message
Bug Fix for negative log numbers (from 1.2.78)
Add JWT_lightning_VQ_map.bin
Updates for Comodo sodesigning from Dec 2017
Check ECU synced before doing PIN lock, fixe bug causing error after PIN lock
Map copy window updated to highlight the maps which differ between compare/main
Engine sim speed up fixes
Add new U12 BIN and N15 GA16DE BIN support
Been a number of weeks since last version. I've had an accident on my mountain bike (dislocated shoulder, factured arm and finger, damaged nerves)... so now out of a sling again and recovering. I'm putting this one up as another test version. The AFR trace view resize appears to work but not fully tested. Still to work on performance issues, but I've not received any updated logs to work with

Hello,
I can see that you renamed LHS to Lean and Rich trigger voltage, and RHS to Mid1/Mid2.
What is the Z32 background here please?

Judging from the new naming convention:
A lean trigger voltage of 210mV seems a bit low and Mid1/Mid2 look like valid lean/rich values.

Details are based from romchips findings here. There are not separate RHS parameters as originally assumed when doing the reverse engineering

hey matt,
so just wondering why one of the injection modifiers were removed with the new update on the r34 ecu.
the one i'm referring to is the option to adjust injection duty without changing afm settings unlike using k constant?

There were no changes affecting this. Appears you are looking at the standard R34 setup. Make sure you have connected to the ECU (and it loads the feature pack address file) or you load a FP BIN file (eg AA50F) and then it will show the extra parameters

Version 1.2.81
Add ADDRESS_BATCH_INJECTION_ENABLE_LOW/HIGH parameters to adjust switch point for batch/sequential first for VLT RB30ET updated firmware (FP1.1)
Basically there are two parameters which are hard coded in the ECU (against injection time) which determine at what point the ECU switches from bank1 / bank2 sequened injection to injecting both banks at the same time (and halving the injector time)

Using large (ie 1000CC) tuners have reported that the sequencing of the banks needs to be shifted, since the injection time is lower (larger injectors) and usually this needs to be lowered

I've updated firmware for VLT RB30ET to support these parameters (internally I will call this FP1.1) and the build will be available on request (and released in the next feature pack)

Currently at the time of writing also doing this for Z31 VG30ET (26P0F) and just needs to complete testing. Address file updates also made for Z31 VG30ET (1988) in this release

Any estimate on when this will be made available? Thanks!
