incorrect update link ?

Post by Eric »

Auto software updates don't seem to work ...and once the software has expired, it opens a non existing link in my browser: http://www.nistune.com/support-downloads.php (the correct link should be https://www.nistune.com/support/software-downloads)
Maybe the auto-updater is also watching this non existing location, hence it misses available updates ?

I just installed version 1.2.81, which hasn't expired yet, so I am not sure if this has been fixed, but when I open the Nistune executable with a hex-editor, I still see the incorrect link mentioned in there.

Thanks. I've updated the link

The website changed to Joomla last year, and the software needs to reflect this change

I keep getting an update error going from 1.2.80 to 1.2.81 via auto feature. I have attached the crashrpt and crashdump.

Any help would be great

Thankyou. Will check it out. I've been doing some improvement to the 'auto update' code

Now added an automatic re-direct from the 'old page' to the new one...

Fix for the software bug relating to update crash has been completed (for next version). I cannot do anything about the crashes on previous versions, so you will need to manually update. Crash was related to Rename/Remove exception due to access (cannot delete running Nistune.exe)
