AFR problem Nissan Gloria ENY34 RB25DET NEO

Post by Vladimir »

Hello, I am from Russia, please tell me what the problem could be, the car Nissan Gloria ENY34 RB25DET NEO. Subaru pink 550cc injectors, MAF z30, Sard 244 fuel pump, Tomei fuel regulator. when you press the gas pedal, the fuel mixture drops to 22, and then levels out to 14.7. for a month now we cannot overcome this failure

I think this ECU uses a boost sensor?

Please see the NEO tuning guide about boost sensors.
http://nistune.com/docs/Nistune%20NEO%2 ... Tuning.pdf

We see throttle open slightly (0.5V to 0.8V) and MAF increase (blue) along with TP (green)

However injection time (purple) going from 1.8ms to 2.95ms is not enough? Is that part of the log where yo go lean?

Make sure boost sensor plugged in and working, reporting proper PSI and rerecord log with this fitted

The boost sensor is used. Everything is connected correctly.

I've marked in the log where the problem happens

2:62 at idle

2.75
TPS (Dark purple) - throttle opens, and MAF (blue) increases
=> TP (green) increases => Injection time rises (2ms => 6ms)

Then MAF drops for some reason (mixtures not yet registering lean) but injection time remains stable @6ms

2.875
RPMs increasing, and MAF still lower than it should be and injection time @ 5.30ms

Then it starts showing lean from here.

The main question is why is your load dropping when you have the throttle opening? What is causing this? The drop is causing the injection time to drop out and then I think you get the lean patch from there

Increase your Alpha/N table from 200 to 255

What does fuel pressure look like during this transition? Was everything changed at the same time (fuel pump, injectors etc?)

Hello, Matt. Subaru pink 550 fuel injectors. The fuel pump Sard 244. Fuel regulator Tomei. XX fuel pressure 2.5 bar. when the turbine pressure is 0, the fuel pressure is 3 bar.
Can you tell me where to look? replaced the vacuum brake booster, thought there might be air suction. Did pressure test the intake system of the engine, all is well.

I'm not sure where to go next on this one. At that stage did the problem start?

If you go back to factory tune (with factory injectors and MAF refitted) I'm wondering if you still see the problem?

hello, please tell me, there are no graphs when connecting to the brain AG 500(Adjusted EPS VE index) in the tab (Fuel Throttle Enrich (VE)) the cells move only vertically. The boost sensor is connected as in the instructions to the NEO motors.

Vehicles don't normally report the ATPS parameter via consult. It is something extra which was added into the FP firmware

So ENY34 does not have the ATPS index in the firmware. It is only available for models with feature pack on it like ER34/WC34. You might be able to load AA500 into the AG500 ECU. I did it for a customer here and it worked okay

So you could potentially reflash your board with 23740-AA5II / 23740-0V8II which is the AT version of the ER34/WC34 and have FP2.1 firmware

ENT file requires base image programmer for reflashing

do you mean to extract the board and re-flash it?

Correct. Remove the board, unsolder jumpers, and PGM soldered. Then reflash with FP file and reinstall

We used a ENY34 ECU in a MT WC34 Stage and that worked okay. However if its original AT ENY34, I'm not sure if any differences between this an an AT ER34. It might work okay with the trans, maybe? I've only confirmed manual trans no issues
