nistune type 1 with base image 44f07 on 44f06 ecu

Hello,

More than 10 years ago I had my ecu upgraded with nistune and dyno tuned my euro spec S13 (ca18det)

It has been working great with no issues until last week, when my ecu died of capacitor leak and transistor explosion..... I couldn't find an exact replacement, it was a s13 ca18det 44F07 and now I have a 44F06.

Can I just transplant my 44f07 nistune board into the new 44f06 ecu or do I need to use a base image programmer change the rom according to the new ecu?

i'm 99% sure that the nistune board survived

Yes that will work fine. The last digit is the ROM revision from Nissan
