Consult Communication Error

Hi,

I have problem with Consult Connection. When I hit button USBConsult in 95% appear window with "Consult Communications Error, Unable to read all consult register data"

Where is problem? It is bad address file for my ECU?

Type 1 bord rev3+ Z31 turbo year 1987.

I tried everything, another computer, cable, drivers, fresh windows and no change.

I inspect ECU and I found problem. PIN number 1 was broken. I think it can be my problem.

ECU is back in workshop and they must repair this pin.

Do you think Matt if it solve my problem with random connecting to Consult?
Car was runing fine.

Once they repair that pin you will know for sure. It is most likely due to this. When it connects it tries to download the consult register table, and then checks it

If its not valid it could be reading the wrong memory address because of the broken address pin

Hi Matt,

ECU is repaired, Engine is working but i still cannot connect to USB Consult.

Still same error.

Have you any idea, what can i try?

Hi can you please send me a debug log file through.

Enable File-Configuration-Debug logging. Restart NIStune. Then perform the operations which caused your problem. Disable debug logging and close down NIStune. Send us the log from the directory C:\Program Files\NIStune\logs directory

Dont know what is going on there. like its resetting during the data stream. Can you please return the board and email me with your address to send a replacement
