hard hot restart

Post by edsz31 »

my car has hard times starting after its fully warm, If it sits for 10-20 min. Im not sure what to try, When it does fire up the it runs on one or two cylinders and slowly starts adding more cylinders after apx 20 seconds I have all 6 running again. I do not see any hot restart adjustments. Most all the cold and warm starting adjustments scales go from -20 to 110 deg. and ideas what I should try.

When you wake up in the morning, before you turn your car on, does the coolant temp read close to ambient?
Shot in the dark but maybe your coolant temp sensor is bad.

I may have figured it out, I may have had my fuel tank vent line blocked off, when I removed the charcoal canister.
