Need Help with Ford Cobra MAF -What do I buy?

Post by 1SIKZ31 »

So I've been looking around and noticed that the JWT450 kit uses a cobra MAF to run the car.
It says to run a 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra MAF
This thing needs to flow at least 450rwhp, which is my current goal.
Will the Cobra MAF be sufficient enough to flow what I need it to?

The thing is, there are a few different Variations of MAF sensors for the Ford Mustang Cobra...
There is the 70mm MAF, and the 55MM MAF, and then there is the 70mm MAF that is calibrated for 19LB fuel injectors?

Heres some pics of the different kinds ive been finding:

The picture of the MAF right below this text is the one I want, its good looking, doesn't need an "Adapter" to make it work, that way boost leaks would be kept at a minumum.
The thing is, it says it is "Calibrated for 19LB Fuel Injectors" and is for a 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra 5.0
Is it ok to buy this one?

Then there is this one:
This one looks a lot less appealing to me, since it has that adapter to connect a pipe to it, and in my eyes it looks like an easy area for a boost leak...
Its also for a 1993 Cobra.

What do I buy?!?!

the bottom one if it is being sold as a stock afm. 19 lb is like a 200cc injector after conversion. i can give you the ford part number if you dont have it yet.
