Nistune locks up my laptop

Post by maglito »

I can edit maps just fine, but if I connect to the ECU or to my wideband, it locks up shortly thereafter. I can't even CTRL-ALT-DEL out of Nistune, the whole PC locks up, forcing a reboot.

Attached is a logfile

Any ideas or tips? I didn't have this problem before I upgraded to the later version of nistune.

Thanks

why can't I upload my log? It's only 256K. I thought the max size was 3MB?

It apparently isn't a problem with nistune. I installed it on a different laptop and it works fine.

Is the first PC running Vista at all?

Please note that we have newer drivers for Vista in later versions and you may need to upgrade to those. Please see Vista upgrade document on the documentation page on the main site

Nope...both laptops are running XP.

I updated the FTDI drivers on the first laptop, and everything works fine now.

Thanks

I have the same issue with my laptop. Where can I find those FTDI drivers and how do I update them?
