CONSULT_DTC_EGT_SENSOR code ... What?

I can't figure out what is throwing this ECU code within nistune. Any ideas? I didn't think these had EGT sensors stock. I also have EGR feedback turned off in the feedback panel.

Ignore the nasty map in the background, was just using it as testing.

Hi what Year is Yours P10 G20 ?
Check attachment as in manual EGT is listed for California model. 1990-1992
and for all later models ( I have manuals for 1994 and 1996 model).

It's a 96 P10

If it's the EGR temp sensor (which is not plugged in) shouldn't nistune prevent it from throwing the code? I have EGR feedback disabled in the feedback panel.

it will not prevent the DTC code from being raised. I've started adding the DTC filter flags to some vehicles but P10 isnt on that list yet

Once the filter flag is off it stops the DTC from being raised

Could the P10 be added to that list? Is there a current workaround? If I just plug the sensor in will it 'fool' it for the time being?

I've added to the list to update the address file

If you plug in the sensor it will remove the DTC code

I've looked at this code tonight. It does not have the DTC filter flags like other ECUs I've looked into

So unfortunately I cannot add filters to the address file for this ECU

So will it cause ill effects if I have EGR temp sensor off checked in the feedback box?

Unless the ECU has some limp home implementation for EGR missing, but I would think most likely not

So even through you have the DTC raised, there most likely wouldnt be any changes to the way the ECU functions otherwise
